coulou cafe trumpet meditations (1hr) - cozy sunset mix
Hello lovely humans, I'm writing this post with a heavy heart as we've lost D'Angelo today. He was one of the most influential artists of our generation, and his battle with cancer at the age of 51 has left us all too soon.
Nearly every single musician I know, regardless of genre, was profoundly impacted by D'Angelo's work. If you haven't been introduced to this artist yet, I've created a Spotify playlist of some of my favorite songs and collaborations.
His presence will be deeply missed, but it's also a poignant reminder of the special bond we can share with artists. As someone who has been inspired by his music, I'm reminded to keep creating art that helps others.
We're all connected, and the things we make with sincerity have the potential to touch people's lives. I want to encourage you to be brave and share your work, even if it feels scary – there's always room for more beauty in the world.
If you'd like, take a listen to my latest song that I released last week. Your support means everything, and I'm grateful to have you here as part of this community. Lots of love, coulou
