Atlas – Karlijn Langendijk (Live at Hamburger Gitarrenfestival 2024)
The title track of my 2022 album "Atlas" was inspired by my travels across the Atlantic Ocean - the oldest mention of this being “Sea of Atlas”. To catch sight of the different continents from a tiny plane window, watching the vast clouds that resemble an infinite ocean and then landing in an unfamiliar place: the journey across the open sea is already quite the adventure. This performance was recorded live at the Hamburger Gitarrenfestival 2024. Thanks for having me!

Karlijn Langendijk’s music speaks the unspoken, painting vivid soundscapes from emotions words can’t hold. A guitarist & composer with a genre-blending style, she crafts melodies that feel like film scores for the heart. Her latest EP "PHASES" captures the seasons of life through solo guitar, each piece recorded on a different guitar to match its mood and character.
