coulou's cafe trumpet meditations (no. 11)
It's peak summer heat in New York right now, I love melting in the sun but the near 100 degree weather with the humidity can really knock me out lol. It's felt a lot quieter these last couple weeks, almost like we've been hit with a bit of mid winter energy, I've definitely been inside more, just more simple living.
I found my dad's old acoustic guitar pickup when I was home and thought I'd try it for this meditation. I love this acoustic guitar and write almost all of my songs on it, the warmth of strings and wood is just one of the best sounds there is.
It still feels like I'm just barely figuring out what I'm doing with these meditations, but that's also keeping them new and interesting for me. I really hope you're all doing well, I am always grateful for the space we all get to create here.
Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of their week, give yourself a break if you need one :)
