The making of my song, EG Is Here – Jubu Smith, Eric Gales & Charlie Hunter | No Rehearsal, One Take
What happens when you put three guitar legends in a room—with no rehearsal, no plan, just pure musical chemistry? This.
DON'T FORGET TO HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON!!
"EG Is Here" is a raw and spontaneous studio moment featuring myself (Jubu Smith), the incomparable Eric Gales, and the hybrid guitar genius Charlie Hunter—locked in a groove with the one and only Calvin Napper on drums. This wasn't rehearsed. This was our very first time ever playing together. One take. No safety net. Just the music talking.
Captured live in the moment, this track became a standout cut on my debut album. It's a testament to what can happen when seasoned musicians meet in a space of trust, freedom, and straight-up soul.
