Grooving and Phrasing | Funk Drum Improvisation with an ’80s Vibe 🥁🎹🎼🎶
Grooving and phrasing over a long funky loop I composed, with a clear ’80s funk production vibe.
Layering phrases, keeping the motion relaxed and natural, and focusing on flow.
The goal is to make it sound simple and clear — locking into the groove using basic subdivisions: 16ths, sextuplets, 32nd notes — nothing fancy, just time, feel, and intention. 🥁✨
