Marcus King | Proud Owner of the "The MK Burst" | 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard | Carter Vintage
Another #gibsunday / another iconic burst moment in history…
This legendary 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard, dubbed the MK Burst, has now finally come full circle, landing in the hands (permanently!) of the one and only Marcus King here at Carter Vintage Guitars. We are so humbled to see this moment finally arrive!
As previously mentioned, this is a lifelong-owned ’59 Gibson Les Paul Standard with all the Burst essentials: original PAFs, a killer acoustic ring, a beautifully faded lemon top, and tons of lived-in character — right down to the initials in the headstock. A true ’59 with soul.
