彩云追月 - “Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon”
Wait for the melody… it feels like the moon is rising.
This is one of the most beautiful Chinese melodies you've probably never heard.
"Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon" (彩云追月) is such a beautiful, nostalgic piece. It has this calm, dreamy feeling that I really love.
I tried to make it sound a bit more cinematic on the piano — like clouds slowly drifting across the night sky with the moon shining through.
Close your eyes for a second… can you picture it?
