Bach: Violin Sonata No. 3 in C Major, BWV 1005 | Antje Weithaas · MarchVivo
When we reach the penultimate work of the Six Pieces for Solo Violin, the Sonata No. 3 BWV 1005, we see how, after four compositions written in minor keys, Bach approaches the bright and powerful key of C major for the first time. However, the music remains in that dark and melancholic tone that underlies all the pieces.
