Martha Argerich, Nelson Freire - Ravel: La Valse (Version for 2 Pianos)
Happy Birthday, Martha Argerich!
85 today (5 June), we celebrate Martha Argerich with this electrifying performance together with her longtime friend and musical partner Nelson Freire of Ravel's La Valse in the version for two pianos.
It was recorded live at the Münchner Klaviersommer 1982, a dazzling display of virtuosity, colour and rhythmic brilliance.
