Adekunle Gold Performs "Oba" (Live) | Global Spin
Watch global Afropop star Adekunle Gold perform "Oba" for the Global Spin series, filmed live at King Kosoko Palace in Lagos, Nigeria, and backed by a full band and backup singers.
Featured on Gold's 2025 album Fuji, "Oba" is a spirited track powered by Fuji-inspired rhythms, Yoruba percussion, and contemporary Afropop production. Weaving together soul, R&B, Fuji, Afropop, and Apala sounds, Fuji explores celebratory moments, intimate reflections that deal with loss, including the passing of loved ones.
