Bach (Re)Inventions in Jazz Trio | Moisés P. Sánchez Trio · MarchVivo
In 1723, the year of his arrival in Leipzig, Bach completed his Two-Part Inventions, conceived for educational purposes for his eldest son, Wilhelm Friedemann. This extraordinary application of the punctum contra punctum principle is reinvented, while keeping its essence intact, through the art of transformation, so practised by Bach himself.
