RANT @ Jazz in E. - Eberswalde | LIVE FROM BERLIN
Merle Bennett and Torsten Papenheim have been performing together as RANT since 2003. In the pieces they develop together, they explore the possibilities of duo performance and create their distinctive musical language using the minimalist combination of guitar and drums.
RANT plays music that hints, expands, and even rejects. In addition to their original compositions, they have also devoted themselves to classics of jazz history through their idiosyncratically stripped-down interpretations.
