Tim Lerch Solo Guitar Improv #11 Bird Blues
I’m posting a short solo guitar improvisation each week. This week its "Bird Blues" an improvised chorus of the classic Charlie Parker Blues similar to Confirmation at a more brisk tempo than some of the previous examples. My goal is to play spontaneously, melodically, hint at the tune but not play a specific arrangement. We’ll see how long I can keep it up. Leave your suggestions in the comments. The guitar is tuned down a whole step to D Standard.
