Oded Tzur Quartet | The Lion Turtle (live)
Recorded live at BIMHUIS, Amsterdam (May 26th, 2022)
Highly praised tenor saxophonist Oded Tzur is a musician with a warm tone reminiscent of John Coltrane, with which he convincingly blends blues, Indian ragas, synagogue prayers and classical music into an unmistakable universal language. He is praised for his narrative compositions, his unprecedented control over the saxophone’s dynamics and his singular technique of sliding between its various notes.
