Wagner: Tristan und Isolde: "O sink hernieder, Nacht der Liebe"
Watch tenor Andreas Schager as Tristan and soprano Camilla Nylund as Isolde sing one of opera's most overwhelming love duets in "O sink hernieder, Nacht der Liebe" from Act II of Wagner's Tristan und Isolde. The duet's intense long phrases seem endlessly to unfold, overlap, and flow into one another in this fixating duet of longing and rapture.
