The Town He Left | As.72
A scene from The Town He Left, a soundtrack for an unwritten film built from recorded sessions and visual fragments.
He stood on a bridge at the edge of town.
The scent of flowers mingled with the wind.
When he turned around, two shadows were looking at him.
“Who is that?” one of them said.
The other said nothing.
He started walking again, crossed the bridge, and left the town behind.
One petal from the flower that never withers, drifting through the air, entered his mouth.
Scene 9.
