Tim Lerch - Two Different Charlies- Manzer vs Ibanez - Is this fair?
Comparison Video:
I thought I'd compare these similar looking guitars, which are equipped with Charlie Christian type pickups.
- The Manzer Blue Note features a Lollar pickup.
- The Ibanez PM3C, on the other hand, has an Ibanez made pickup.
With identical amp settings, strings, picks, and player for both guitars, as well as the same settings in the DAW, the only variables were the instruments themselves.
I found them to be quite different, yet both sound good to me.
