John Lennon's Birthday Tribute // She's leaving home
Today, on October 9, 2024, we celebrate what would have been John Lennon’s 84th birthday. Playing “She’s Leaving Home” with Sven Jungbeck feels like the perfect tribute to Lennon’s genius. While McCartney composed the melody, Lennon’s heartfelt lyrics brought an emotional depth that still resonates deeply today.
We recorded this video 1.5 years ago, but something about today just feels right for its release—a moment to honor Lennon’s enduring legacy.
