Yesterday, we had to make the difficult decision of putting our dog down. Blue was with us since April 2015, right after my wife and I bought our new home. She rented a studio apartment in our house, after the kitty committee had unanimously agreed to allow her to move in.

And so it was, for 11 years, our amazing dog by our sides, watching our family grow as we had two kids. She was, of course, our first baby... and now she is gone. It was so sudden, one day she was fine, the next, she was gone.
