2024 D'Angelico Style B - Jonathan Stout - "When I Take My Sugar to Tea"
I recently visited the D'Angelico showroom in NYC and had the chance to demo some of their amazing guitars. In this video, I'll be playing a new Style B that arrived on my doorstep earlier this week. The folks at D'Angelico were kind enough to swap out a reissue DeArmond model 1100 so I could play it with bronze strings and balance it with some of my favorite gear.
- I'll be playing through my trusty 1939 Gibson EH-185 amp.
- The guitar will be miced up with my AEA Ribbon Mics R84A.
- I'll also be using some of my favorite strings, including the Martin SP 80/20 12's.
For this video, I've chosen to play a bit of "When I Take My Sugar to Tea".
