Chroma Console Performance W/ Mother 32 + Minilogue + Digitakt
The Korg Minilogue and Moog Mother 32 are routed into the Digitakt II's external inputs, alongside samples and patterns on the Digitakt. These instruments and samples are then sent to Chroma Console to glue it all together.
- Tip: At the upper end of Sweeten's Amount knob, you'll get soft saturation perfect for analog sound. Adjusting Sensitivity allows you to dial in just the right amount of saturation.
- Done before, but still useful: Turn Drift up on Pitch effect and put rate at 50% for subtle pitch modulation that's tape-like. Makes synth sounds like oscillators are drifting out of sync in a cool way.
- Cascade delay is used here to add rhythmic syncopation. Syncs perfectly to MIDI tempo, adding nice rhythmic touch.
- Cassette effect adds saturation, compression, and tape-like modulation. Dialed in low here, but helps add slightly-uneven result that analog gear is often revered for.
