Brian Tichy: Linear grooves on the old Tamas🥁
A little linear grooving on my original, old school Swingstar/Imperialstar Tama kit from 9th grade.
- This kit made it from my NJ basement in 1982, to the Berklee sheds in the late 80’s,
- Around the country with @vinnie_moore_guitarist and @johnjddeservio,
- And ultimately to the lofty heights of Rush’s stage in front of Neil’s kit at Madison Square Garden in 1991!
I haven’t played this kit since 1993 and had it shipped out to my place last year.
- Finally cleaned it up and put some new heads on it.
- Always was a cool kit!
