Piazzolla & Jobim: Tango Meets Bossa Nova | Bergallo & Friends · MarchVivo
Tango and bossa nova, two genres born almost simultaneously in different corners of Latin America, share more than meets the eye: urban music, laden with nostalgia, open to fusion and harmonic refinement. This program intertwines works by Piazzolla and Jobim to show how tango not only adapts to other aesthetics, but also dialogues and coexists with them. A new stop on this journey through the geographies of tango.
Antônio Carlos Jobim (1927-1994) and Vinicius de Moraes (1913-1980)
