Faye Webster: Tiny Desk Concert
Faye Webster's Tiny Desk Concert is a serene escape. The performance features her longtime band and a string quartet, offering a swooning and sweeping set from her quickly growing catalog.
The concert was inspired by Faye Webster's experience of buying last-minute tickets to the symphony orchestra in her hometown of Atlanta, which left her with an otherworldly feeling. She performs songs like "But Not Kiss" and the title track "Underdressed at the Symphony", as well as cuts from "Atlanta Millionaires Club". The Tiny Desk Concert features a mix of groovy and dream-like qualities, all brought together by Trey Pollard's string arrangements.
